A young girl named Adeline born in the 1700s is desperate for a life full of choices. Adeline thinks she is making the right decision when she pleads to a stranger the night of her wedding. However she wasn’t careful enough with her words
The Invisible Life of Addie Larue remains to be one of my all time favorite books. I enjoyed the perspective of a forever living, strong, independent protagonist. The writing in this book makes you feel as if you are living through Adeline’s life with her. It shows the heartbreak involved with losing many you care about and follows life lessons involved with trusting those you shouldn’t. As a bonus the dust jacket to this book uses references from the book and really ties it together nice and simple.
