I was very happy to read Marissa’s review of my book, SAGA OF THE SIOUX. I grew up beside a Sioux reservation and when I was given the opportunity of adapting this classic for a young adult audience, I was thrilled. Marissa’s comments let me know that I succeeded in what I wanted to do–make Dee Brown’s important history accessible to a young audience. Thank you.
